HALOBLK Alloy Pedal 2

Pedal covers don’t usually grab headlines—but HALOBLK’s latest release might just change that. The Alloy Pedal 2 is billed as the world’s first quick-release pedal cover, and it’s a clever rethink of an accessory that hasn’t seen much innovation in decades. Instead of fiddling with tools or flimsy clips, the Alloy Pedal 2 snaps on or off in about three seconds. Simple. Secure. Done.

Crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum, each pedal is both lightweight and tough enough for serious daily use. A one-piece injection-molded design ensures a snug, rattle-free fit, while the expanded anti-slip rubber surface means your foot stays planted when it matters. Ergonomic shaping improves pedal feel, and the laser-cut detailing gives a premium finish you’ll actually notice when you look down.

Style-wise, HALOBLK leans into personality with three distinct flavors: Toy Switch, with its playful, tech-heavy vibe; Arcadekid, a nod to bold, retro arcade design; and Nothing, a stripped-back minimalist option for purists that will perfectly match your Tesla’s interior styling.

APP EV Systems 10-Module Battery Pack

APP has expanded its modular battery lineup with a new 10-module enclosure, designed to meet the needs of even more EV projects. Built from the same carbon-Kevlar-fiberglass construction as the 8-module pack, this larger enclosure still delivers an 80% weight savings compared to steel boxes while weighing only 290 lbs fully loaded. Flexible mounting configurations allow the pack to be positioned throughout the vehicle to balance weight and improve performance.

Like the rest of the APP system, the 10-module pack features active liquid cooling with automotive-grade quick-release connectors (straight or 90°), along with key safety features including a fused manual service disconnect, HVIL (high-voltage interlock), touch-proof HV connectors, and venting units for degas flow.

This configuration provides 23 kWh of energy, a max voltage of 128 V, and an operating range of 84–128 V. An external 61-pin BMS connector makes integration straightforward with the builder’s preferred BMS system.

Builders can also combine 8- and 10-module packs in series to reach their ideal voltage for higher-voltage EV systems. This makes the new 10-module pack not just a perfect drop-in solution for Hyper 9 kits but also a versatile building block for custom conversions.
